Lotte Hotel Jeju

Exceptional stay for our honeymoon. Right from getting out of the Uber and them taking our bags to our room, to the smooth check out service, the staff were so helpful and professional. The room was exquisite, we were able to pay for an upgrade when we arrived and got a view of the sea and pool. The pool is a real highlight, heated to the perfect temperature, with smaller hotter pools dotted around the side infused with different things like rosemary and wine. There was a beautiful trail around the windmill, and you can walk straight down to the beach (although we couldn't swim as it was jellyfish season). We loved the poolside bar (would recommend the lobster tteokbokki), and the cocktails were really wonderful (the cactus fruit one and blue saigon were favourites of ours). They also do a performance at night on the pool, they sing Disney songs which was lovely to watch from our balcony. Lots of families with kids, it seems very child friendly and they have great facilities for children. The area around is quite touristy, expect higher prices at all the eateries as they are catering to these luxury hotels. The waterfalls nearby are well worth a visit, and the teddy bear museum is cute. They take a 200,000 deposit when you arrive, this is refunded at the end of your stay.

It’s truly the best hotel experience that I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly kind and proactive in solving even small issues. The space was large, and the building itself was elegant and very well maintained. The room in the new wing(annex) was also clean, comfortable, and had a breathtaking view. I think this is the first time I’ve been completely satisfied with every aspect of a hotel provides And I enjoyed so much the surprise concert at outdoor pool I hadn’t known about And there’s free shuttle service between airport and the hotel which is very convenient I definitely will stay here again if I come back to Jeju

Unfortunately, I would’ve liked to give this hotel a higher rating. However, the attitude of the so-called supervisor during both check-in on the evening of July 11th and again when I requested a late check-out the following day was extremely rude. Her excuse was that the hotel was “fully booked,” yet when I checked online, there was still availability. This employee clearly lacks the basic skills required to deal with guests respectfully, and I felt genuinely offended during both interactions. On a positive note, the rest of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the hotel itself offers great amenities and is very spacious.
