From the moment we arrived, Lotte Hotel Yangon truly exceeded our expectations. As someone from Myanmar, I was impressed by how the hotel blends modern luxury with touches of traditional Burmese elegance. The location beside Inya Lake is perfect—the lake view, especially at sunset, is absolutely breathtaking and adds a peaceful charm to the whole experience. Good location and nice rooms, but terrible service. I stayed there for a week during Thingyan. The pool staff did not want me using the cushion at the pool because the did not want to get them wet. I had a meeting with some guests at the pool; I could not order drinks for my guests because I extended my stay and they did not have my credit card info attached to the new reservation. I had to go all the way back up to my room to get my credit card to order the drinks for my guest.
