Lotte Resort Sokcho

If you want to enjoy water activity and exploring the locals, this hotel meets the expectations. We, family 4 stayed 2 /3. One day we explored the trails around the building and discovered the direct way to the Sokcho public beach and also the way to the fishing town. Both trails are well made and have a spectacular view. Infinite pool is offered for the guests freely to use. However it wouldn't be so easy to find where. Somehow it was found in an unusual way through the water park. Towels and beach chairs were rented, not free. Rooms are huge with a kitchen and all the kitchenware besides Microwave. On the last day we found out we did not need to call the tax to get to the express bus terminal, where you can walk along the public beach for about 15-20 mins. Downside was they only equipped small towels in such a large bathroom and 3 pm all together check-in.

Probably one of the best hotels in the Sokcho area. This is our second time staying and my daughter loves sleeping in the Lotty and Lorry room every time! The water park is much better in the summer than in the winter. Will be back again soon!

You have to pay to get a towel. The pillows are like pancakes and you only get one. We had a self contained condo and there were no drinking glasses, just 4 mugs. We checked ourselves in and out. We arrived early but they wouldn’t even look after our bags while we waited for check in time to start. Everything is extra. you even have to pay for the kids playground. You pay a premium for this hotel but it’s a 2 star experience.
