Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew

For this price? it was more then expected, it’s an old hotel and it might be a bit scary from the outside but, the rooms are clean and cozy, I stayed on 9th floor, had an amazing view, no sound reaching us while sleeping. the building construction is super unique, location is also good. Bed was super comfy and the man in the reception was super nice.

Ex luxury hotel. Facilities old but still usable like pool and gym. Rooms are very spacey, view on the mountains. Very quiet area, beds are comfy though sheets and towels had their best times far behind. You get what you pay for, - means quite cheap for 4 star hotel.

My experience at the hotel was mixed. At check-in, the staff did not seem happy or welcoming, which is disappointing for the service industry. They looked bored and like they didn’t want to be there. The breakfast was good, but the juice was not fresh. The hotel room was fantastic—spacious with a balcony—but unfortunately, the bathroom walls had mold. I’ve heard the hotel will undergo renovations next year, which is much needed. The pool was large, though I didn’t get a chance to swim, and the gym lacked air conditioning. While the hotel itself was big and beautiful, its location is slightly outside the central area of Chiang Mai, which could be inconvenient.
