Louis Kienne Hotel Pemuda

Clean and cozy budget hotel with rooftop swimming pool and small but almost complete gym with very good choice of machine. Good for solo travelling that need simplicity. Near new mall, Queen City Mall, just 5 minutes walk. The minus thing is the Parking Area, very difficult, narrow and not recommended for using big car. More difficult than Ujian SIM.

I recently stayed at Louis Kienne Pemuda, expecting a comfortable experience given its 4-star rating. However, I was quite disappointed. First, the rooms are not soundproof at all. I could hear noises from the hallway and even from neighboring rooms, making it hard to rest properly. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better insulation against noise. Second, an even bigger issue was the staff’s lack of professionalism. While I was resting, a cleaning staff member opened my door without warning. This was incredibly intrusive and unacceptable. A hotel should respect guests’ privacy, and such incidents should never happen. Overall, I expected a higher level of service and comfort. Unfortunately, the lack of soundproofing and staff professionalism made my stay frustrating. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and private stay.

Bad choice hotel for stay in Semarang. The hotel can't provide complementary amenities to guests. On 4am in the morning, we ask reception for complimentary shampoo and bath soap. After we waiting for 45 mins, staff call back and tell us they out of stock. Staff suggest guest to take a bath with little hand soap. It was bad for hotel hospitality, we didnt ask for additional but still they failed to respon guest needed.
