My husband and I stayed recently with our 7 month old baby. We only stayed one night but it was lovely. I'm American living in Germany. I know the pros and cons of staying in many places around the world. I feel like the staff were very eager to help (which is nice since Germany is not so known for their customer service). The feel of the place is really charming. And you step outside and your in a shopping hub and excellent area for restaurants in Berlin. It's a real good choice.

Classic hotel with really nice rooms and great service. Small but nice pool and spa area. Located on Kuh’Damm, so not the hippest area, but a great central location with many restaurants and bars in the area.

I had an extremely unfortunate experience at this hotel, and their behavior reflected unprofessional and unacceptable conduct. When we arrived at the hotel with a group of 9 people from Israel, the reception was initially friendly. However, when I presented my Israeli passport, I could tell from the receptionist's facial expressions that something had changed, and the treatment became noticeably worse. After we went up to our rooms, we noticed a shift in the way we were treated. Even the sick child who was crying was pointed out, and the following day, we were asked to leave the hotel. The staff member accused us of breaking the kitchen, despite there being no evidence to support this claim. During this time, we experienced clear racism from the hotel staff, as the situations we faced were unjustified, and the treatment was harsh. Even the police who were called treated us in a discriminatory manner, speaking in German, which we could not fully understand, making the situation even more difficult. Additionally, the hotel did not refund the full amount we had paid. Even after deducting part of the amount, more than 4,000 euros were taken without any clear explanation, indicating a lack of transparency in their financial dealings with us. I filed a complaint with the Israeli Embassy in Berlin regarding the racist treatment, stressing the importance of following up on the case to the end, with the intention of bringing the media's attention to what occurred. In conclusion, this experience was painful and unjust. It is crucial for all guests to be treated with respect, regardless of their religion or nationality. Clearly, the treatment we received at this hotel was inappropriate, and this matter should be addressed seriously to prevent such incidents from occurring again. I do not recommend any Israeli visit this racist, anti-Semitic hotel, and I will hold the hotel accountable for their actions. When we left the hotel, I discovered that I had forgotten my gold bracelet and ring on the table in the room. I returned to the hotel, but the German police refused to let me in. After a lengthy argument, a police officer came up with me to the room. Unfortunately, I could not find the bracelet, as the room had been cleaned in just ten minutes, and my belongings had disappeared. I also filed a complaint with the German police regarding this matter, but the situation was extremely frustrating. Throughout this experience, we felt fear from the police, and it was clear that we were subjected to anti-Semitic and racist treatment. I do not recommend anyone visit a hotel that treats its guests in such a discriminatory manner! This kitchen that the staff member claimed was broken.
