Really amazing place cannot recommend it enough, we have stayed here twice now. We came with our 2 children and dog and we were all made to feel so welcome by the owners. They went above and beyond. There is so much for the children to do with the play park, giant outdoor games as well as a good selection of games and books to borrow to take into your cottage, animals to see, lovely walk through the woods and along the beck. There is a really good system for the pool to book private sessions for your family as well as having free sessions where anyone can use it. Our dog loved the huge dog paddock to run around in. Having stayed in 2 different cottages, they were both so clean. The kitchens were fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking all our meals throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Our cottage was beautiful, grounds lovely plenty for children to do and swimming pool too. Set in 10acres of land with Mill race and beck just behind our cottage. Booked again for next year before we left.
I was a little apprehensive with all the excellent reviews, thinking it sounds too good to be true and it won't be like that. My wife booked it and found the reviews were spot on. It's such a beautiful place with plenty of things around the area for kids to do, but equally perfect for couples. The place itself was clean, and I can tell it's really looked after, and plenty of love is put into the place. The place is outstanding, but what makes it perfect are the owners who are really friendly and feel like you've known them for years. This was our first time there and definitely won't be out last. We're already looking at dates off work to book again next year.
