Don't go to this hotel, the owner is a very rude man. I rented it with a discount but they didn't let me stay in the room I rented. The hotel owner told me that I was staying at the hotel for free. And he was going to beat me. They gave me a small room. I accepted because I was scared. There is no sign on the hotel. The name is written on a small barge outside but it is a different name (Grand Pera). The room was very dirty. The bed was full of women's hair. The TV wouldn't turn on. There were no slippers. The shower head was broken. I couldn't reach the reception by phone. The elevator was broken. I had to go down to the first floor and then use the stairs. It was a terrible experience. I will never stay at this hotel again even if it was free.
Luce Di Pera Boutique Hotel - Worst Hotel Experience (1/5) I had the most disappointing and frustrating experience with Luce Di Pera Boutique Hotel, and I feel compelled to warn others. I booked a stay from December 27 to January 1 through Agoda, but when I arrived at the hotel, the manager, a man named "Ahmet," told me that there was no record of my booking. To make matters worse, three other guests — from Iran, Russia, and local residents from Turkey — showed up only to be told the exact same thing. It became clear that this was no mistake. The hotel was trying to scam guests by refusing to honor online bookings made through platforms like Agoda, likely because they wanted to charge us a higher price directly. This practice is not only dishonest but also deeply damaging to the reputation of Turkish tourism. It's incredibly frustrating to travel all the way to your destination only to be told that your reservation doesn't exist, and it was a complete waste of time and money. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. This type of scam is not only unethical, but it also reflects poorly on Turkey's hospitality industry as a whole. Do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel that respects its customers and their bookings.
After making a reservation through Agoda, I contacted the property owner to confirm if my reservation was visible in their system. They assured me that it was, so I assumed there would be no issues. However, when I arrived at the property on the reservation date, the receptionist informed me that my reservation was not in their system. Additionally, they stated that there were no vacant rooms available. To resolve the situation, I tried calling the property owner again, but neither I nor the receptionist could reach them. Despite calling around 9-10 times, all attempts went unanswered. The following day, I returned to the property and tried contacting the owner again, but they still did not answer or return any of our calls. That day, under heavy rain, we were left drenched and exhausted, forcing us to find alternative accommodation. We reported the issue to Agoda and filed a complaint. Agoda attempted to contact the property owner for 72 hours but received no response. Eventually, we were refunded the full amount a week later. Given the inconvenience we experienced and the complete lack of communication from the property, I absolutely do not recommend this place.
