Ludwig Boutique Hotel & Spa

I just want to say thank you to Virginia for helping making the stay a lot less stressful. 🙏 Hotel’s best feature: proximity to Lake Bolsena, where I could swim with my dog. Just a 2min walk.

Our stay was just amazing! We took a room with sauna and jacuzzi and could enjoy our little private spa. We went with our 5 monts old baby so it was so comfortable as the sauna is just there and when in need I could just go to my baby without bothering others (as it would be in public spa). The jacuzzi is on the balcony, but when the weather outside is cold, it's possible to close it and put on the heating. The bed was very big and comfortable. Room was super clean. EVERY staff member that we met was really polite. We took also the massage in the hotel and even if I order "relaxing massage", he adjusted to my needs and helped to get rid of the back pain that I had still from the giving birth. Super professional! I read some comments before that the restaurant is outside the hotel, but it was in the hotel downstairs. The food was good. Breakfast was nice and abundant (in the foto you can see just a little part of the breakfast offer). Of course more sweet things as the hotel is in Italy where usually people eat sweet things for the breakfast, but also salty things were there and I ate more than good. You can order also eggs. Overall I really enjoyed and could relax with my family. We will definitely come back! :)

I booked a Superior Deluxe room with a lake view for €150, but the hotel canceled my reservation due to an issue and moved me to this hotel. While this hotel looked nicer, I was placed in a room that costs €123, not what I originally booked. If I wanted a cheaper room, I would’ve booked one myself. The new hotel was more expensive, and I wasn’t reimbursed for the difference. The only compensation was not paying the €9 city tax, but overall, I didn’t feel satisfied with how it was handled. The hotel itself is okay. I’d stay here.
