My family and I had a pleasant one-week stay in this nice, relatively little hotel. Its staff was very kind and went out of their way to help us e.g. by arranging trips and preparing breakfast at early morning hours. In some reviews of this hotel the guests complained about impolite personnel, but I think this is a thing of the past as the hotel staff was always kind and helpful to us. Advantages: We were very satisfied with breakfasts – there were cereals with milk, French fries, boiled eggs, bread, cheese, cottage cheese, ham, chocolate paste, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, melons, coffee, etc. Our room was clean, and it was cleaned three times during our one-week stay. The swimming pool was excellent, nothing to complain about it. I think there are eight cats living in the hotel garden – they were a great joy to my daughters who played with them often. Disadvantages: In our room the air-conditioning was fitted right above one of the beds which forced us to either turn off air conditioning at night (not a desired option because of the heat) or not use that bed – we choose the latter option and one of our daughters slept in the large bed with me and my wife. The location of the air-conditioning could be a bigger issue to guests who need all the beds and cannot fit three persons in one bed. The TV was not working, though we did not need it.
Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel for multiple reasons. First, the dirty towels provided upon arrival, covered in so much sweat and dark circles. The bathroom and bedroom were both covered in hair, I had to ask the cleaners to clean multiple times because of it. The hotel manager also tried to charge us even more money upon departure, making excuses like we “came before check in” when we didn’t. The breakfast is basically just a starter that consists of different cheeses, some salad and tiny loaves of bread.
Discussed with this hotel I arrived at night on Saturday. So was very tired. Went bed. No sheets. A small black in the wardrobe. Then in the morning got up for a shower. Dirty towels. Very dirty. Then the walls have wall paper coming of in chunks. Don't think about useing the stairs. So dangerous. And the noise at night. Well from 10pm till 2.30 am the banging starts. Not from planes. But from doors. I tryed to talk to staff but get nowhere as manager is away. So this morning I went for breakfast. Hadn't payed in advance. Noone came to serve me for about 20 mins. I got up to ask staff for a menu snd orange juice or water. They had neither. Just tea or coffee. I asked for a omelet. They don't serve hot meals. Just so fruit and cheese on a plate with bread. As I said I've had an operation on my mouth and can't chew. So I walked out went to the nearest coffee house down the road. And was served with the greatest respect.
