My first time in Lunavolcan and it was very relaxing . The rooms are very clean with an amazing view and the Service was excellent Jaime was our server. He was kind and always had a smile. The breakfast was my favorite ,also a delicious dinner my favorite was spaghetti with fish very juicy. The dessert was very delicious my favorite was hot love. Christopher also was helping serving he also had a smile on his face. The spa super nice, Victoria took away that little pain I had on my back. Oh! I was forgetting the pool was very relaxing too! It was a little cloudy but, once you go in the warm water you don’t want to come out! I would recommend Luna Volcan.

Beautiful hotel, customer service was amazing, the attention to detail is outstanding. The pool area has great views of the valley and mountains. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, I may be wrong but it feels like the floor is heated around the bed. And the included dinner was one of the best meals we’ve had in Ecuador so far.

Beautiful hotel located high up in the mountains. We looked at 4 rooms before deciding on a room with a mountain view and a hot tub. It's more expensive but far better than the other rooms. Just be aware that the various rooms differ quite a bit in quality, size, ambiance, view and lighting. It's worth it to pay a bit more for a better room. Otherwise our experience might have been very different. Breakfast and dinner were included but the quality is just so so. We stayed 3 nights and found all the dishes were over cooked and tough, although nicely presented. We chose to eat in town on the 3rd night. The service at the restaurant was courteous but slow. The staff at the front desk did let us look at several rooms which we appreciated. But otherwise, the staff were not very welcoming. Short one word answers and not much English spoken. It's a bit surprising given the price point and the international clients. There was a wood burning stove in the room and no other heating. There was no paper provided to light the stove and we had to request for extra help from the staff each night and extra tips were given for this service. It seems the hotel should offer to light the stove nightly given the room was breezing cold without it. Hotel seems to offer no luggage service. The location and the hotel grounds are beautiful. Although you will need a car to reach it. It takes quite a while going up the mountain. It is far above the main town. Overall good hotel but expensive given the lack of service and food quality.
