Lunalá Hotel Boutique

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! We stayed in the junior suite which had a lovely balcony. Breakfast was included and there were many options including delicious fresh fruit, waffles, coffee and juice. The staff were very kind! They helped provide airport transport to and from the hotel. And the location of the hotel is nice and quiet! Super important for us because I can’t sleep with too much noise. I would definitely stay here again!

This review is purely about the café Lunala. Staff is friendly and helpful. They speak English too. I felt very welcome. Went there to work a bit. There is Wifi, A/C and charging available. The café is very calm. Would definitely come again!

Unfortunately Lunala did not live up to the expectation at all. For a hotel that charges 500 dollars or around that mark for a room we expected A LOT more. I’d say this is a 2/3 star hotel. One of our 3 rooms was on the ground floor, next to reception and it was a shoe box! No windows, no light, tiny and superrrr loud because it was right in reception. They should clarify that when advertising the room. Breakfast is a circus, Every morning they mixed every order and always took ages, bringing random things ant random times. There was never salt, servillets, water, it’s a mess and needs something to take control of it. The ONLY good thing was the customer service and friendliness of one of the reception staff- Andres and the location if you want to stay in Getsemani. The pool is tiny and run down, there’s no bar, there’s no music. In general, there are so many better options in Cartagena.
