Lusty Beg Island

Love Lusty Beg. This was my second time staying down and yet again it did not disappoint. We stayed in a superior room, which in comparison to the other featured a larger bathroom. I personally preferred the other as the room had double patio doors which opened out to the lake. The spa is fabulous and the staff were great. I adore the food. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and each was delicious. The bar at night had an amazing singer on from 19:00 to 21:00. If your thinking about having a relaxing night or two away it will genuinely not disappoint!!!

We had dinner at Lusty Beg one evening with a big group of 12, including four kids (ages 7, 4, a toddler, and a baby), and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. They handled our group really well, and made us feel right at home. The food was reasonably priced with good portion sizes perfect for both adults and kids. The Guinness was also spot on! Great spot for a relaxed family meal.

A beautiful location as you arrive to the island via the ferry. We were greeted by such friendly staff who genuinely wanted to ensure that your experience was one to remember. Our stroll to the lodge via the Lough's waterside was the start of our relaxing stay. The lodge was a nod to a Nordic chalet, nestled close to the Lough and it's wildlife. Beautiful interior that was simply yet effectively created. The outdoor activities were very well managed and afforded time to explore the Lough without any haste Ending the day with beautifully presented home made meals, with such attentive service as we watched the day close. The Lough lit up by the promenade lights as we watched the sunset. What a memorable short stay it was Thank you
