Lutecia Smart Design Hotel

Very good price/value ratio! It’s not located in the very city centre, but with an underground it can be reached in a few minutes. The reception was polite and kind, the room was clean and tidy and we had a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was fresh, plenty of food, we were absolutely satisfied. Definitely worth the price.

Front desk staff nice. Not sure what constitutes a smart hotel. Nickel and dime you in everything. €1.75 for a coffee pod, free in most hotels. Breakfast was horrible. Staff don’t greet you, actively avoid eye contact so you’re anxious to ask them where the sugar is (it should be somewhere obvious I don’t need to be searching for basics first thing in the morning!). Rancid pineapple juice. The cold cuts of meat were actually warmer than the scrambled egg. One of the worst breakfasts I’ve had.

Currently in room 1012 that I didn’t pay for. I actually paid for the triple room. I also have not been compensated and I have receipts. Front desk just added a 3rd bed. The audacity, I should of just booked an air bnb. Asked about the suite couldn’t get that. False advertisement on Expedia. First time ever visiting this hotel. They just shoved me a nurse and my brother a military Vet in a room without care.
