We did not choose to stay at this hotel but it was chosen by the tour company that brought us to Fátima. This hotel had a roof, a bed , and a bath- with a shower that was hot. The bed was not comfortable - the staff is accommodating - there are four elevators….it is Super Close to the Fatima Pilgrimage sight - an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel does a TERRIFIC job of feeding a crowd - it is impressive has quickly they feed over 200 people. If I was to choose a hotel in Fatima- this would not be my first choice. It was fine for me as a pilgrim…I was grateful for the accommodations - but it is not a luxury hotel.

You cannot call yourself a Lux hotel when my experience was: the beds are hard as a rock , the carpet is stained and the furniture is dated. I took a bath but there is no lever to let the water out. You need a knife or something to jam into the drain plug to release the drain and I don’t have one so now my dirty bath water is just sitting in the tub. Also there is no maintenance person to come to your room for an emergency issue because the lady at the desk said she’s the only one here. Do better Lux.

I had no issues with the property because it’s nice, the breakfast is fine but unfortunately the management is terrible. I am diabetic and I have a special medication that need to stay in the fridge. At the moment of the booking the fridge was included for this reason I chose them, also mostly of the hotel in Fatima where we stayed in the past provided fridge. In the room the fridge was closed with a door because is part of a kitchen. After several requests to open the door and have accessibility to the fridge, the personal assured the door is open immediately (first lie) after 2 days of staying finally the door was opened, but surprisingly the fridge doesn’t works. Long story short I had to leave a day before for this reason and the hotel refused to (because their faulty) refund me the last night. Expedia tried to negotiate with them, but one receptionist said:” if was booked with us we’ll refund you but Expedia not” so if you get the room 642 be aware of this inconvenience and if you need to use the fridge consider this comment
