We had an amazing time at Lux Grand Gaube. The food was fabulous, we were on half board and every meal exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the beach and pool areas were simply lovely. On our last day, our flight was late and the hotel let us use their spare shower rooms. They were spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to freshen up before leaving. A special thank you to Manav, who was always there when we needed anything, from ordering food for the kids to offering assistance, always polite, kind, and attentive. The hotel also has a spa and a kids club, making it perfect for families. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius.
Our stay was more than amazing! We got a free room upgrade, which made our stay even better. The staff were amazing, especially the ones at the adults-only beach. Don’t get me started on the food - the restaurants were perfect, we couldn’t have had more delicious food! We had an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back!
We’ve just returned from an incredible two week stay at LUX* Grand Gaube and it exceeded all our expectations. The service was exceptional and genuinely the best we’ve experienced, even compared to other five star hotels. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Travelling with our 18 month old, we were so impressed by how child friendly the resort was. Although he couldn’t stay in the kids’ club alone, we visited daily and the team made him feel so included and cared for. Staff all around the resort were so warm and kind to him, which made a big difference to our holiday. The food was excellent with great variety, and the resort was spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was always perfectly cleaned with thoughtful touches like towel animals for our little one. We really appreciated how attentive and considerate the staff were without us even needing to ask. We are already planning our return and highly recommend it, especially for families.
