For the price, I’m really happy with this ASQ. Stayed with my daughter in the Duplex room. Actually LOVED our meals every day, especially compared to another ASQ we have stayed in that was pricier. Room has a balcony, microwave and bedroom is upstairs so don’t feel too cramped, well worth paying the price for extra space and amenities. Two TVs and lots of cleaning equipment and snacks. Can order grabs between set times each day and staff quick to reply in Line. No bugs, rats or the sort in the two weeks. It’s a MUCH cheaper ASQ than most options so for its price it was great, can’t expect much more in this budget so be reasonable about your expectations.
Hotel looks and feels abandoned :/ Kinda gave off creepy vibes because of the desolate feeling, plus not the cleanest place in the world... the 1 staff member I saw in 2 days was very nice, but other than that not much to say about this place. You can tell it was a nice place back in the day, but im not sure if time or COVID got the best of it. My shower heater didnt work and the test and go food was very cheap and low quality. Usually I'm not a complainer, but I was disappointed in the quality of the place that I paid good money for.
This hotel ranks at the worst of my all-time list. I'll start off with the worst part; i woke up to numerous scratching noises on the wall behind my head. 5 minutes later the noises were coming from the window, and were so significant that i thought someone was breaking into my room. So after getting up and turning on the lights, i was in complete shock to find a rat the size of a cat in my room! After calling the staff, who in the end were not able to catch it was the giant rodent escaped, the reception staff told me that i would be put in a different room the next day, and that before they could move me, the new room would have to be disinfected as it's a quarantine hotel. But i knew they didn't want to deal with me, anyway i was forced to sleep in that room knowing that a giant rat entered my room! They next day i was told that the hotel was fully booked, which was a complete lie as both rooms next to mine were empty. They refused to move me and instead i got a comment on Line saying "are you scared" as if the situation was funny. I stayed in that room a further 3 nights, sleeping with the lights on. In my two weeks there, i never had a warm meal. The food arrived every day to my door cold. When i brought the issue up to the staff i was told that they couldn't do anything about it, and tried to force me to rent a microwave. In relation to the food, not only it was cold but the fries were a few days old and the beef so chewy i couldn't swallow. On one day i only had 2 meals, not the 3 that i paid for. On a given day i got so frustrated that i had to order from 7-11 but didn't get what i asked for. I also asked for a SIM card from 7-11 that day but the staff tried to convince me to buy one from her as it was already registered and instead would charge me 200 baht. After some research i realised that she was seeking me a SIM from 7-11 that cost 9 baht. When i told her that i changed my mind and that i would buy one myself after three end of my quarantine stay, she got pushy and said that i could only buy one with Thai ID. I have a Thai girlfriend who obviously advised me that it was not true. Anyway, that was experience i definitely do not recommend this hotel especially given that it's not the cheapest around!
