Luxury Apartments at Temple Resort and Spa Port Douglas

We recently had our wedding at the Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa, and we can’t speak highly enough of Sophia Gibson and the incredible team there. Sophia, the Wedding and Events Executive, is truly one of the nicest, most easygoing, and professional people you’ll ever meet. From the very beginning, she was a dream to work with—nothing was ever too much trouble, and her calm, bubbly energy made the entire planning process feel effortless. She was always smiling, always accommodating, and made what could’ve been a stressful experience feel completely relaxed and enjoyable. On the day, everything was executed perfectly. Sophia and her team brought our vision to life with such care and attention to detail—it was absolutely seamless. We feel so lucky to have had her by our side for such a special moment. The Sea Temple is our favourite place to stay in Port Douglas. The lagoon pool is stunning and provides a gorgeous view from the surrounding rooms and restaurant area. The rooms themselves are luxurious and well laid out, with comfortable outdoor areas, perfectly suited for relaxing in the tropics. Finally, the reception staff are excellent- friendly, helpful and very professional. It's always wonderful to return.

Too pricey for the level of service and quality you get: - No room service after 9:30 PM. This wasn't clear at the time of the booking. - House Keeping missed to clean and make the room for 2 days. We even put the sign up on the door to make the room but they still failed to do it. The reception offered $20 as a credit for each missed day but seriously that doesn't help to live with a dirty room. - Pool was dirty and never cleaned. - Big ants and a nest in the backyard. Small ants everywhere in the kitchen and on the room floor. - Restaurants menu is very limited and food was not too great either. - On a positive note, Staff was great and Cocktails were amazing.
