It's located just half a block from the Grove Street PATH station. The front office staff is attentive to your needs and very friendly. The King bedroom I reserved was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed the view from the high floor. However, be aware that there is constant honking from cars for about 10 hours a day. While the hotel can't control this, it's something to consider. Breakfast was decent, but they offered the same items every day. Fitness room(free) and laundry(2$ for each) are really good!

Kind of a mediocre hotel… not bad, but nothing inherently outstanding either. The location is great, the rooms are clean, but the service is really lacking. There’s also cars constantly honking 10 hours a day, not that the hotel can help that, but it is a consideration to take into account. In the end you’re super close to the Statue of Liberty ferry, PATH station, and New York City so it should be fine if it’s just a place to park yourself in at night in between sightseeing. But as for it being some kind of “destination resort”, you’ll be sorely disappointed. It’s a jump point for NYC and Statue of Liberty, not a luxury destination.

Layla and Yasmin are extremely unprofessional and better suited for roles that are not customer facing. The management team needs to do better at training these girls to uphold Marriott standards. I am a titanium member and would not continue to be loyal to Marriott if this was a consistent experience which it is thankfully not.
