For me, the the hotel was quite perfect! I wanted to stay outside the city center, work out, eat well, rest and wash some laundry. All is possible here! The rooms are quite compact and well decorated - no flaws here. Bear in mind that the bathroom and shower are IN the room, divided with walls that look good but offer no soundproofing. Joint spaces were great for some laptop time and you can make your own food there as well. Minus one point: only 5 coffee mugs and limited glasses, that are always in the dish washer, that no one empties. Brunch is more than a breakfast; I recieved a bowl of Glutein free bread; topped the breads with some pesto and spreads. Fresh fruit salad, yogurt, good coffee. There also is some rice and stew to keep you going for a long time. Service was mixed; I was welcomed by two (most likely new employees) that had their phones with them and did not give any instructions or even a welcome; I had to lead the discussions and ask where everything is.
Would not recommend for business travel. I’ve stayed in several rooms. None were quiet. It’s impossible to close the doors quietly, if anyone closes their door, it reverberates through the entire hallway. No carpet or anything that would soften the noise. Woke up several times per night. What a pity. I love the location and their vegan concept.
We stayed a few times, but will not return. The rooms are OK, if you feel cosy in a small, dark and noisy space. It has some design to it, so you can take it for somebody's idea of style. However, what kinda blew my mind was a conversation I had when I asked the reception that the room service would please not use room spray next day. Turns out "We have weekly room service". Really? "Yes, please check our website." So you're charging 250€ a night, but no room service?? "No, you have to book that extra." But 250€?? "Oh, that's due to a fair at Frankfurt." So, I did check my booking through HRS. Read all of it twice. Not a single mention of weekly room service. And, excuse me, if you can charge extra for business travelers, you might as well feature business travel quality. btw, still waiting for an invoice with my correct address. Not happy, not returning.
