We stayed here for a week and we took the one of kind plus room and everything was perfect. Room had a nice view on the streets, everything was new, clean and ergonomic. We loved our stay here, the staff were super kind and even allowed us a late checkout since our flight got delayed. Hotel is close to metro 3 and several bus stations. We would definitely come back again. Just one thing that can make it all better is to add a coffee machine in rooms. Thank you Lyf team 😁
The plus : Beautiful, modern space, room size is OK, especially for Paris. Beds are very comfortable, and generally you get a good night sleep. A/C works impeccably and it's easy to control individually for your room. Plenty of sockets, USB chargers, TV had several channels in different languages and a Cast option. Hotel is in a quiet residential area, but close to the lively Gambetta square, and the public transport. Birds singing is heard in the morning :) The common space areas are a very good amenity. All food at breakfast is of very good quality. It is the same offer every day, but there are choices. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The minus : Bathroom has almost no privacy, just a tinted glass panel. I was there alone, so no problem, but I'm not sure I would stay here if sharing a room with someone. Storage space is just a hanging rod with 4 hangers, so not so easy to keep your things organized. The rooms are not cleaned. I think for a couple of days it really is not needed, but I stayed for a week, and the floor did need a sweep. I noticed that the trash cans were emptied about the 5th day, but seems to be the only thing done in the room. It takes a bit to get to the main attractions, usually you have to change metro lines. Not sure about the "above ground" transport, as I prefer the subway due to traffic crowds in the city center. Overall, I hat a great stay personally and rate the hotel with the highest mark, but I am pointing out these smaller issues as they might be useful to other guests.
Great new hotel. Comfy beds and sweet staff. The breakfast situation has a lot of work to do to live up to the rest of the standard. Dirty dishes on most tables, half of the food missing in the buffet and the staff doesn’t really know how to handle service. Hoping it will improve.
