5-Star Experience at Lyfe Resort & Residency From the moment I arrived at Lyfe Resort & Residency, I was treated like more than just a guest—I was welcomed like family. My stay has been nothing short of amazing, thanks to the incredible atmosphere, exceptional service, and most importantly, the dedicated team who truly went above and beyond. I want to especially recognize Carman Patterson, the manager, whose professionalism and genuine care made a world of difference. She ensured that every detail of my stay was seamless and stress-free. Whether it was addressing small concerns or checking in personally to make sure I was comfortable, her leadership clearly sets the tone for the entire resort. I also want to sincerely thank Isabella, who brought warmth and hospitality to each interaction. She consistently went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, always with a smile and a calm, kind presence. It’s clear she takes great pride in making guests feel at home. Their attention to detail, compassion, and commitment to excellence have made this experience one that I’ll never forget. I genuinely felt supported, valued, and cared for throughout my stay. If you’re considering Lyfe Resort & Residency, know that you’re not just booking a place to stay—you’re stepping into a community that truly cares. Highly recommend!
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my current stay at the hotel, which was meant to be a special trip planned months in advance for my birthday. I booked my room over three months ago specifically for the wraparound ocean view, which was the centerpiece of my entire trip. Shockingly, on the morning of my check-in, I was informed that the room I had secured well in advance was no longer available due to a so-called "glitch in the system." Frankly, I find this explanation highly unconvincing and suspect this was actually the result of overbooking or mismanagement. This was a major letdown, and the way it was handled made the situation even worse. The receptionist I spoke with was not only rude and dismissive but also incredibly pushy, trying to force me into accepting a replacement room I never wanted. After spending months planning this trip, canceling was not an option, so I was essentially cornered into accepting a significantly downgraded room—with only a partial ocean view and a smaller balcony, far from what I reserved and paid for. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. Upon arrival, I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for valet service before anyone was available to take my keys. Once I got to my room, it was uncomfortably hot, 76degrees to be exact and I discovered that the thermostat had no battery, making it impossible to adjust the temperature. Then, when I tried to make the best of things and step out onto the balcony, I found that the patio furniture was in poor and unusable condition. This entire experience was deeply disappointing and has completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a memorable birthday celebration. For the amount of money I invested into this stay, the quality of service and accommodations I received was unacceptable.
Disastrous Experience at Lyfe Resort - Avoid at All Costs! I booked a stay at Lyfe Resort through Booking.com, but I quickly learned that the apartment was actually owned by a middleman company. This was never mentioned when I made the booking, and it ended up being the root of almost all the problems during my stay. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. First off, the apartment wasn’t even properly cleaned. There were visible stains on the floors, and the place felt generally dirty. I had to call the middleman company to get fresh towels the next day, but they NEVER showed up. When I called to follow up, I was ignored. Absolutely unprofessional. The service was horrendous overall. I had to deal with unresponsive staff and zero assistance during my entire stay. It’s clear that there’s no coordination between the resort and the actual owner of the apartment, and the result is a complete lack of any kind of proper hospitality. Not to mention how expensive it is per night, plus the hidden service fees, and all the taxes the add. It’s almost as if they charge you just to breathe in there. But the worst part? The elevator situation. I’m not exaggerating when I say we had to wait almost 45 MINUTES every single time we tried to get the elevator. It was always packed, and the elevator just took FOREVER to get to our floor and travel through all the levels. It was beyond frustrating, especially when you’re on vacation and just want to relax. I’ve stayed at plenty of resorts, but this was by far the most terrible experience I’ve had. The lack of communication, terrible service, and overall poor quality of the resort left me feeling completely unsatisfied. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere—this place is a nightmare
