Fantastic location. The entertainment is top quality and has something for everyone. The food is great and varied and my girlfriend and I have had a fantastic 5 nights with a welcoming and warm hosts. The staff are friendly and polite without being pushy (which is important for a brit!) We really appreciated the communication they gave us and the helpful nature that they all have. Welcoming, warm and wonderful stay. 5/5 would and will stay again. Adar, Ekrem and Burcu were fabulous and knew I won talent competition!
Great location. Very nice food, plenty of choice for every taste, though deserts are not always best. We had to try 4-5 cakes to find one or 2 we liked. Turkish night food was fantastic! Should have made some of this food every day. Good mocktails. Fantastic spa and treatments, highly profesional staff who knows their job very well. Various entertainment during the day and in the evening. Mini disco was great fun for children. While for adults was wierd choice of music for international crowd, only Turkish holidaymakers enjoyed themselves with dance. But couple of shows were trully great - Turkish night and comic male battle. Big main swimming pool, great slides in children's pool. Beach is a bit rundown with sunloungers and pier. But in general nice, pebbly and quiet water during the day. Good watersports. Polite reception and bellboys. Those are matching 4 star hotel. Very dissapointed with cleaning. Nobody cleaned bathroom for whole 7 days. Only floor in the room was kind of wiped 2 or 3 times during whole stay. The smell of mould everyone complaining is true. I had to go hunt for towels myself and no shower gel was replaced. Made complaints and received only some of the service, such as towels and odd bits of shower gel amd shampoo. While bathroom still wasn't cleaned. They arranged nicely old bedding - didn't change it, moped the floor in the room and put 1.5 litre of water instead of topping up minibar. It is all caused a huge stress and ruined relaxed holidays. And toilet paper shortage was so outrageous, first time in my life I had to go to the shop to buy toilet rolls myself while staying in a hotel. And yes, you have to pay for internet about 2 euro per day. And only one person can login to internet. So each of the family should pay 2 euros each.
Our experience at Lykia Botanika was unfortunately very underwhelming and frustrating. From the moment we arrived, there were consistent issues that made the stay far from enjoyable. Firstly, the cleanliness throughout the hotel was a major concern. There was constantly food left in the hallways leading to our rooms, sometimes sitting for days before being cleaned up. This gave the whole place an unkempt and unhygienic feel. Housekeeping was also extremely poor. We had to call reception every single day around 4pm just to get someone to clean our room — which often still looked untouched afterward. When I raised this with the receptionist, they unhelpfully claimed the room had already been cleaned and even blamed us for its condition, despite the fact that we had just returned and hadn’t even unpacked. The reception staff were generally rude and unwelcoming. Anytime we asked a question or needed assistance, we were met with unenthusiastic, dismissive attitudes as if we were inconveniencing them by simply asking for help. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. For the price we paid, we expected at least basic hospitality and cleanliness — neither of which we received.
