Lyzzick

Our four nights stay at Lizzick Hall in July 2025 was absolutely incredible! Yes the gorgeous weather helped, but we enjoyed the beautiful grounds, good car park, stunning view, and the smart outdoor furniture. The service from all the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The food was amazing, and we had some memorable meals! Good quality room, with a high standard of cleanliness. Even the piano music during dinner was at a perfect sound level. Everything was perfect and wonderful! Highly recommended! xXx

Quiet place to enjoy life in full in the middle of the northern Lake District, 10 car or bus minutes from Keswick. Phantastic views of the fells, luxurious meals and beautiful inside and outside recreation areas. Not suitable for an evening stroll to nearby entertainment facilities.

Had the most amazing night away here after climbing Catbells. It was a last minute booking and we didn’t really know what to expect, but it totally exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Grisedale deluxe room, but even the standard double rooms looked lovely and the hotel as a whole was beautiful with the most amazing views from the restaurant and lounge areas. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and after some debating of whether to go out into Keswick, we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant which was incredible. Set 2 or 3 course menu, which initially I was unsure about as it’s quite specific dishes, but I’m glad we took a chance because the food was unreal. Seabass was amazing and the crème brulee 🤌🏼 my only suggestion would have been a little bit of low volume music to add some atmosphere. Would 100% stay again - thanks to all who made it so special.
