M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Had a great experience at the lunch buffet today! The spread was impressive with a wide variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The staff especially FAIRWAY TEAM were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely worth the price ! I’d come back again

My stay at M Resort Hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff were warm, welcoming and always ready to assist. The room was spacious, spotless and beautifully designed with a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the stunning pool, excellent facilities and a breakfast buffet that offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. Every detail was well taken care of, making my stay truly memorable. I will definitely come back and highly recommend M Resort Hotel for anyone seeking comfort, luxury and outstanding hospitality.

As a heads up, this would basically be a 2-star review if it weren't for the low price which makes it too good to ignore. M Resort appears to be a fairly new hotel, as room and facilities all seemed quite new and good quality. As a staycation with the intention to do as little as possible and catch up on rest/relaxation, we were happy with our room, the free baby cot that came with it, and the facilities we used, such as the gym and spa. In-room dining and buffet breakfast was also decent. Where things fell short was the customer service. From start to finish, the staff service always left more to be desired. From a rushed and incomplete check-in experience (and later following up to ask for payment at an inconvenient time), taking an hour to bring back change after not being able to charge to the room, to trying to a finish a spa much earlier than what we had paid for without providing an explanation, is not a great look when trying to position the hotel as a 5-star venue. Again, it's not that the staff were inherently unfriendly, not at all, the staff were often friendly but rather the details, the small things that you expect from a higher-class hotel that really matter. Staff with proper training, acting with a sense of urgency and keeping the customer's best interest in mind is what really makes customers come back for more. And when you get back to price, it all makes sense. With that in mind, at the end of the day, I do think M Resort is good value as long as you can get a discounted room rate. Things look 5-star'ish from the outside and as long as you don't expect 5-star service, you'll likely have a good time! Hopefully things will improve over time as there's a lot of potential.
