We stayed one night recently before going to early morning flight. Nice hotel. Clean. Big room. Good shower. On main road but cannot hear traffic from back rooms. Good bed and linen. Good pillows. Carpet has bad smell in hallway. Needs cleaning there.

I would never have guessed it was just a 2-start hotel! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast included with your stay was amazing! Breakfast included a large buffet of Vietnamese food, a chef prepared pho and eggs, and a variety of fruit, vegetables, cheese, bread, pastries, cereal and yogurt. Coffee, tea, and different juices were available daily. My 3.5 year old daughter loved the chef, To. The only complaint we had was that the hot water in the shower ran out after a few minutes, but the staff worked quickly to get it fixed. The hotel is close to the Old Quarter and there are several stores within a walking distance of you need to pick up a snack. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Hanoi!

Sadly this is probably the worst Hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip. From not picking us up at the airport, to the slate hard beds. We noticed a flyer in the room advertising cocktails on the 8th floor, so up we went, only to be met by a floor of accommodation rooms. We stopped off at the restaurant floor, it was closed at 6.30pm, we went to order room service only to be told that there was none tonight. Only one of us got a hot shower at night, and still no hot water in the morning. So all this combined leeds us to a 2 star rating.
