M2 de Bangkok

Have stayed here several times in recent years, 2-3-4 nights at a time. Have always enjoyed it here. The rooms are quite okay, although some might need to be re-papered and some new paint on the walls. Nothing urgent though. The location is good even if you have a big problem outside. The windows isolate most of the traffic noise. The toilet and shower work great. The restaurant could perhaps have a little more Western to offer from the menu if it is to suit all guests. Otherwise, there are several restaurants around the corner, including the well-known "Eat Am Are" within walking distance of about 100 meters. Close to shopping in the enormous complex "Central Ladprao". A must when you are there. Chatuchak market in the other direction, just a taxi and about 10-15 minutes. Then you can reach pretty much all of Bangkok from either highways or trudge along the local roads. The staff are always very nice and speak good English for those who need it.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. Several basic amenities were missing, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. There was no buffet breakfast, no toothbrush or toothpaste provided, no bathrobes, no slippers, and no bathtub even though it was advertised. What made things worse was the complete lack of response from the reception. Calls and requests for help went unanswered, which is unacceptable for any hospitality service. Overall, it felt like the hotel didn’t care about guest comfort or service. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others unless serious improvements are made.

besides everything being dirty and broken, there is a very strong smell of dirt and dust from the curtains that it is impossible to sleep. strong noise from the road and a disgusting location. everything around is dirty and dusty. very far from everything. I strongly do not recommend this hotel even for free.
