Ma Doo Bua Phuket

We booked the hotel because of its lake, and we were not as satisfied as we thought we would be. The hotel is basically shared in 3 areas (1 is apartment-rooms on the other side of the road, 1 behind the reception and 1 around the swimmingpool). We are not used to lizards in the rooms and around the rooms, and it was very scary for us for stay at this hotel for that reason. We saw a 1,5meter (MINIMUM LENGTH) lizard around our room, and we couldn't sleep well since we were all scared of it. The guard came to remove the lizards from the room, but since there was a big gap around the door, the lizard could easily get out and inside the rooms. We were told to not worry about the 1,5meter lizard. And then we were also informed that if we get bid by the big lizard, then we have to go to the hospital. So basically a worry + not-worry situation? We didn't dare to use the pool and relax around the pool because of that lizard. The breakfast was good and especially their latte in the mornings. If we could choose again, we would probably choose to not stay at this place, because of the lizards and because there is nothing around the hotel. It is far away from everything and no activity-companies agrees to pick up from this area.

‏I visited this café ‏the staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming acted as if she was doing us a favor—very unprofessional behavior😱 ‏There was a long queue just to take pictures, and if you want to shoot a video on the boat, you actually need to book an appointment in advance, which was never mentioned beforehand. ‏Overall, the service was terrible and the experience was frustrating. I strongly advise not to waste your time visiting this place. ‏customer service for video and photos was the worst experience in my life and also they not accepting card only Cash on their currency. a big place like this can't offer card payment ‏It doesn’t even deserve one star. Very disappointing🤢🤢🤢😵

Madoobua translates to Apathy probably. Regretting the decision of staying here. While the room is just ok, the staff is totally indifferent, especially the cafe team, no bell boy to help with the luggage, however I'll give some credit to the lone manager Aum who tries her best. The reception area is full of mosquitoes. wonder why the hotel is totally deserted. Overhyped for their pond and drone photography and cafe..and arrogant due to these too.
