Mac Puerto Marina Benalmadena

Exceeded my expectations. Everywhere was very clean. Contrary to previous review (who seemed to be there at the same time as us) we thought the decor was pristine - the hotel looked very new. Food was lovely - great range and high quality. Staff were amazing - friendly, professional and courteous. If the entertainment isn't your cup of tea, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding areas in the evenings. Location is great. Good local buses. Recommend visiting Benalmedena old town. We like to visit different places each time we go away, but I would consider returning to this hotel.

I have just returned from this fabulous hotel and I can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone! The care and attention that is given to holiday makers at reception is top class! I was sadly given a room that felt away from everything and a balcony looking out onto a street. As a solo traveller I felt cut off from the main area and wasn’t feeling the holiday vibe that I had felt when I stayed here before when my balcony was looking onto the entertainment area. The first night I was sadly awoken by a street cleaning truck at 6:30am. I went to reception and explained my disappointment of where my room was and being woken up so early. I explained how important it is for a solo traveller to feel part of other holiday makers and how alone I felt with my balcony looking onto a street. Jannis on reception took all my disappointments on board and changed my room to a view of the entertainment area. A lot of hotels would not have listened so attentively but Mac Puerto Marina always like to make every holiday makers experience the best that they can and I assure you , my holiday started when I moved to a different room. I want to say Thank You Jannis, you really made my holiday the best! Mac Puerto Marina are lucky to have you! I will definitely return to your lovely hotel and will definitely recommend it to family and friends 😍

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Location is excellent, staff are so nice. The pool is really nice but has a lot of missing tiles which are loose around the pool. No shortage of sunbeds at anytime of the day. Breakfast was fantastic. We had two nights which we could hear a loud ceiling fan until late which was unfortunate but the rest of our stay it wasn’t an issue.
