Beautiful old building with Stratford upon Avon town a short walk away. In a lovely location. From the warm welcome, right through to when we left, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room in the old post of the hotel which was spacious and clean. We did the over night spa deal, which was excellent value, the spas treatments and dinner and breakfast was very good. We will do this again another time as we had such a lovely time.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. On arrival We received a great welcome, at the reception. The room was clean but although a bit tired. On the first night I could not sleep because of neighbours who were making a lot of noise. I think the hotel should put a post to advise guests to be considerate to other guests and not to be loud especially during the night. The hotel is not luggage friendly, pulling a suitcase in the corridors can be tricky as some places in the corridors have steps. This is worse if you have to stay upstairs, there is no lift. You have to drag your luggage. Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpful. The location is wonderful, walking distance into town. The grounds of the hotel is marvellous, with well manicurevlaens. .Swimming and steam room was great.

Such a convenient site for walking into town which we did. The reception area is part of the old building which is lovely. We had to wait for our room to be ready so there was a slight delay. Rooms are as expected- although we booked a twin room and had a double. That was ok. Fridge is great and all very clean and tidy. Bathroom is fine although somewhat dated Pool is very good - open in evenings so can have a last swim. No idea about food as we didn’t eat there. Paid for car parking - was able to leave car there on final day until 2pm Which was great.
