Macdonald Aviemore Hotel

We booked a lodge at Mcdonald Resort Aviemore for the weekend. It was a brilliant getaway! Lots to do for kids and adults, quadbiking, swimming, walks with the dog and the indoor soft play area are the activities we got up to! Plenty others on offer. The Lodge was lovely, cosy and comfy beds. Kitchen is small but we only needed it to make cuppas and breakfast. Definitely recommend for families with or without dogs!

The rooms were very traditional with old style finishing very Scottish they don't provide a kettle or tea and coffee so be prepared to pop to the restraunt after a stroll for a drink. The food was first class and the staff was very professional. Well worth a stay

We arrived and found that our allocated room was not good because of the steps upstairs, which we didn't expect. They immediately found us another room on the ground floor. No problem.. Our room was OK and our breakfast was plentiful. Considering it is a hotel catering foe families there was very little noise but lots of happy children, which was lovely to see. Our only problem, was that I left my phone charger plugged into the socket on the table, and came away without it 🙃..
