Great hotel in the heart of the Old Town in Les Deux Alpes with great views. Only 5min walk down to the Diable chair lift but you don't need to worry as they have 2 shuttle buses leaving every 10mins to take you to all the lifts including main Jandri. The hotel has a great pool, (small) gym and spa area to relax after hard days skiing which is a gem!! It also has a nice lounge bar and sofa area including games room downstairs. The only downsides are that the ski locker room is very small and so gets confusing during busy periods (careful with not picking up the wrong skis as happened to us!!) And the ski shop is close by but the Manager there is a bit grumpy (beware!) And the hotel is a bit dated however the staff are all lovely people and so accommodating that you really enjoy your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It's better than i expected from this hotel. Everything is great! Very but very good french BRAKFAST. The last review here on maps is misleading for this hotel. Go to 4-5 stars and will be worse than here. Nice gym and swimming pool. Clean and big rooms for a French hotel.

We recently completed a one‐week stay at the hotel, and the dedicated staff—exceeding even some 5‑star establishments in their attentiveness— they truly made our experience enjoyable. In summary, while the exceptional service and many facilities meet high standards, significant improvements in climate control, housekeeping consistency, building maintenance, and leisure area safety are necessary for an overall superior experience. Summary of pros/cons Staff are amazing!! merci beaucoup et bravo! Leisure facilities pools sauna steam etc should be condemned and closed until refurbished and cleaned regularly. The Details: Arrival and Check-In Upon arrival, we encountered a 5–8‑meter stretch of thick ice near the entrance, making it slippery when carrying luggage with no way around. Although we understand that icy conditions are expected in the Alps, the issue might be improved with the addition of rubber mats. At reception, we received a warm welcome and a thorough briefing on shuttle services, WiFi access, and key local attractions before being escorted promptly to dinner at 9 p.m. Dining Experience The buffet-style restaurant offered an impressive array of hot dishes and a variety that rivaled many 5‑star all‑inclusive hotels for quality. Food was consistently replenished—even late in the evening—and breakfast featured a hot buffet with fresh baguettes, pastries, fruits, yogurts, and a high-quality self‑serve coffee machine. Drinks were promptly served to the table with complimentary water, and the bar staff exhibited professionalism and care. A small selection of fresh sweets and cheeses was also available and good quality. Accommodation and Shuttle Service We stayed in room 415 on the top floor (northeast corner), as booked without a balcony. The room was clean and well‑appointed, featuring a separate WC and shower/bathroom, along with complimentary slippers, a bottle of water, ample wardrobe space, and a safe. The shuttle bus to the Diable and Jandri lifts was efficient—a five‑minute ride—with polite, accommodating drivers. Outside beer garden area, great views, great drinks, minor niggle was that the snow had been left to lie and slowly melt on the seats and tables so they were always wet to sit on. Location The hotel is ideally situated: quiet enough to avoid late‑night noise yet close enough to enjoy local attractions on foot. Areas for Improvement A few issues tempered an otherwise pleasant stay: Room Climate: A radiator under the TV lacked a thermostat, causing the room to become overly warm. Although reception adjusted it after our complaint, we had to open the windows to cool the room. • Housekeeping: Daily service was generally prompt; however, on several occasions the bath towel was not replaced despite heavy use, bed linens were seldom changed even after staining, and spare pillows were unclean. Maintenance: While the bar lounge, entrance, dining room, bedrooms, and boot room were well maintained, the hotel’s exterior shows signs of aging—crumbling walls and incomplete IBIZA signage on the roof being notable examples. Leisure Facilities: The spa and fitness areas require urgent refurbishment and deep cleaning. The steam room vents are covered in sludge, walls are deteriorating, and the sauna floor appears neglected in addition to a missing heater guard and stained walls. Additionally, poorly maintained vented tiles throughout and unclean loungers raise concerns about hygiene as they harbour bacteria. The swimming pool deep end ladder is missing all treads, forcing safe access only via the shallow end stairs—a serious safety hazard, particularly for children.
