Madingley Hall

An absolute hidden gem just outside Cambridge! Madingley Hall is one of the most beautiful and tranquil places I’ve ever visited. The historic Elizabethan architecture, manicured gardens, and peaceful setting create a truly magical atmosphere. Whether you're here for a conference, a weekend retreat, or just a stroll through the grounds, it’s an unforgettable experience. The rooms are charming and comfortable, blending period character with modern amenities. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely helpful — you really feel looked after. Breakfast in the great hall was a highlight, and the grounds are perfect for a peaceful walk or even just sitting with a book. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a touch of history and elegance. Just a short drive from Cambridge city centre, but it feels like a world away.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this venue and was genuinely impressed. It’s an ideal place for conferences, meetings, or group events – very well laid out with ample space and a professional atmosphere. One of the first things that stood out was the plentiful parking, which makes everything so much easier for attendees. No stress about finding a space, which is always a bonus when organising or attending a function. The service throughout the day was excellent – attentive, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive. The staff clearly know how to support events of all kinds, and everything ran very smoothly as a result. We also enjoyed a very good meal while we were there. The food was fresh, well-prepared and tasty, with a good selection on offer to suit different preferences. Whether you’re there for a working lunch or something more substantial, you’ll be well looked after. Overall, this is a very solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, well-managed venue with good facilities and great service. Highly recommended – I’ll certainly be keeping it in mind for future events.

Stunning Hall with beautiful surrounding gardens, woodland and lake. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend taking a peaceful stroll around the grounds and through the gardens. It's definitely one of the best places I have stayed. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options and well worth the extra money.
