Madison Taipei a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Stylish, chic rooms , professional service and a real feeling if somewhere a bit special. Quiet and comfortable I’ll be back. Maybe the only low point is the music at breakfast time .. maybe some low volume jazz, or none would be better … food was good and the service at breakfast very sharp. A really lovely luxe hotel at a fair rate.

Look no further! This is where you want to stay in Taipei. Super centrally located, in the heart of Taipei, close to cool bars and restaurants and night markets. The hotel is very clean and the service is outstanding. Cool design too. The staff go out of their way to help you out with any recommendations and to make you feel at home. Great daily happy hour too which adds a touch of hospitality. We will certainly stay here next time we are in Taipei! Thank you Madison Taipei :)

Had a mixed experience staying at Madison Taipei. Pros: - service staff were attentive and quick to respond to potential issues that arose. The concierge, bellboys, and housekeeping staff in particular were exceptional. - free happy hour at the lounge - free drinks in the room - amenities generally seemed very new and generally well maintained Cons: - unfortunately, during my week long stay at the Madison Taipei, I noticed a strong persistent musty/ moldy smell coming from the AC vent. During the middle of the stay, it was causing me respiratory issues (coughing, shortness of breath). I asked to switch rooms, which the front desk staff were able to accommodate me the same day (and to their credit, they sent repairmen to examine and fix the previous unit the same day). However, the new room that I had been switched into had the same issue. I wish that I had done my due diligence and looked through the previous reviews that had mentioned the smell and HVAC system. Although the hotel was otherwise lovely and all of the hotel staff did everything in their power to address the issue, I would not choose to stay at this facility again.
