This is a very beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms and the decor are exquisite and a real credit to the owners. The beds and linen are high quality and the attention to detail is perfect. Definitely worth a stay.
Madonna Del Mare was a pleasant surprise upon opening the door. The room was beautiful. It was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The AC was cold on the blistering hot 100 degree days. The location is perfect and walking to the shops and restaurants of old town takes only minutes. Parking was a bit of a challenge but that’s to be expected in this location. The front desk staff provided directions on where to attempt parking and we eventually found a spot that was not too far away.
The room was like the photos but the surroundings where not like the photo there was no castle looking dwelling with a beautiful entrance - it was definitely false advertising. We came for our honeymoon and there was no acknowledgement or any special touches in the room. They don’t even have a guide for any recommendations. Overall it is a nice room but I would not stay here again.
