Now called Iolida Hotel after being refurbished this year. Situated on the main local bus route to Corfu Town, 2 buses per hour both ways 2.5euros. Our rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard, clean towels daily, and a few bars receptionist. I would say 80% are Frenh tourists to this hotel as the animation team are French. The food choice was well above what you'd expect at a tui 3 star rated hotel, my only gripe was it was never red hot(I used the microwave as I like my food piping hot). Only 1 bar on an evening ,when the female staff were on alone or together it wasn't uncommon for them to just bugger off for a smoke, you often felt you were an hindrance to them(they would regularly take personal calls or face time there boyfriends). The pool is locked until 10am so no need to be up early, there are some sunbeds on the paved area if you want to use early. Bus stop right outside hotel entrance next door is a nice wine bar serves perfectly chilled glass of serviong and a large beer 10euros. A small shop on site but cheaper supermarket at the side of the wine bar. If you walk past the malibu beach club, there are a few beach bars with evening entertainment. During the day, you can get 2 sunbeds a brolly for around 10 euros. If you turn left out of the hotel, a steady 20-minute stroll, there are several tavernas and a few bars. All in a all a very good hotel but not ideal if you struggle walking as it is a very steep slope from the entrance to the reception.

A lot of pro's and cons about this hotel. First of all when we arrived they placed 2 of us in a dirty room with 3 beds and the building looked like it was falling to pieces. But what I can say is, when we asked if we could switch rooms, the staff were very quick and efficient to help us. They placed us in a much nicer room. Although the rooms are slightly outdated (which I can see Dassia as an area is slowly becoming outdated). They were enough to keep us happy! The food is okay, seemed to be similar things on every day, which was nice but a little boring too. The hotel suggests dressing formal for meals, but they do not pick you out if you are underdressed. I'd presume the owner is the one always welcoming everyone in and out of each meal which is a nice touch. I'm not sure what staff ethics are like in Corfu. But it seemed like it was the same people in the same area for the entire 7 days for at least 12 hours. You could tell that some were definitely overworked. The area the hotel in is okay at best, not too much about apart from other hotels and tourist shops. What I can say is that there is a bus stop right at the bottom of the hotel which can take you straight into Corfu Town. It is definitely a good hotel if you're looking for a cheaper one, you get what you paid for really.

Do not leave valuables in the room. We stayed in this hotel in May 2023. we did not expect it to be the most luxurious hotel, especially because the price was quite good with all inclusive. This included local drinks (not of the best quality but they could be consumed) and good but not very diverse food and snacks. We also ignored the bad smell from the area where we were staying and many other irregularities until we realized that from the wallet left in the hotel room (in the backpack that was in the dresser because the safe was broken and broken) someone stole 100 euros. This is something horrible. They gave us a room with an exit to the garden and the maid always leaves the door to the garden open after cleaning, and anyone could enter there, even someone who is not staying at the hotel, because there is an alley almost to the street, and there is no guard at the entrance. But, we are sure that it was someone from the hotel since they didn't steal other objects, and they didn't steal all the money, but only two 50E bills and left 175E in the wallet. Of course no one recognized and they asked me to prove that I had that money, which is impossible to achieve. Who has any proof of how much money he has in his wallet? It's absurd! After this incident I checked other reviews on other sites and it seems that we are not the only ones in this situation and the theft from the rooms in this hotel is an older problem. Shame on them!
