Simply put calm friendly peaceful and beautiful every bit of it from the rooms to the building itself and the garden is a nice and relaxing place to be. The owners are absolutely wonderful I instantly felt like I was home. Would I come back here? Definitely 100% . If you're looking for Rest and recuperation Magpies Bed and Breakfast is the place for all to be.
Just returned from a 2 night stay. Staying at Pear Tree lodge. The room was beautiful and had a courtyard overlooking fields, where we spent a lot of time drinking wine and playing cards. They also had a shared swimming pool which was very relaxing. We also met some of the owners family and who were lovely to talk too. Jane shares her home with 2 beautiful spaniels who are adorable and perfectly behaved. . This was one of the reasons why we picked this accomodation. Breakfast was delicious but please save your bacon ends for my two furry friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely location, very friendly/helpful hosts Jane and Kevin. very relaxing. Beautiful grounds, and lovely dog fidget who's happy see you. Overall if you're want to get away and unwind come here. Thanks for a lovely stay
