I had an amazing experience staying at The Maharaja boutique Hotel in Zanzibar. What stood out the most was the incredible hospitality – the staff were truly the friendliest I've encountered at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at on the island. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home. The service here was also the best I received out of all the resorts during my trip. The hotel itself is clean, beautifully decorated, and located right on the beach, which was such a highlight – having the ocean just steps from my door was a dream. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and everything was very well maintained. As for the food, while it was beautifully presented and visually appealing, I personally felt the taste didn’t quite match the appearance. It wasn’t my favorite, but the overall experience more than made up for it. I’d definitely recommend The Maharaja Hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar. It’s a peaceful, well-run place with exceptional staff, a perfect beachfront location, and a warm, welcoming vibe.

We chose Maharaja Boutique Hotel for our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with our decision. From the moment we arrived early in the morning, we were warmly welcomed by Anita, who went above and beyond to check us in as early as possible. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, and just steps from the ocean. The hotel is in a stunning bay, and the restaurant served some of the most delicious meals of our trip. Special thanks to Kite and the bar team—within a day, they knew our names, room number, and favorite drinks. After each excursion, someone would ask if they should send our drinks up—such thoughtful service! Housekeeping also did a fantastic job, leaving creative towel animals and floral decorations daily. Maharaja Boutique Hotel is truly a special place with an exceptional team. Huge thanks to Anita, Kite, and the housekeeping staff for making our honeymoon unforgettable!
