Excellent resort, Family Suite was perfect for family of 3, this could comfortably fit family of 4. Swimming pools are immaculate and the children pools have enough equipment to keep them happy for hours. One thing to note is check closing times as kids pools shut at 4pm. Likewise other pools closing at 6/8pm. All of this is detailed when you check in but a bit inconvenient if you are out for the day and come back later on. This may be due to low season and my only issue with this stay was that a vast majority of the facilities were closed. Walking from the room to reception/ onwards to the beach I found almost everything was closed, shops, cafe, food courts all taped off and empty. The same for construction work, from the main reception down to the beach, there were workmen everywhere and diversions throughout the resort, with none of this being mentioned before or even at check in I felt a little disappointed in what should have been a 10/10 resort. As I say this may be due to low season. Outwith the resort you would have to get a taxi / drive to most places due to the location. So having these amenities within the resort open would have been fantastic. The restaurants, bar and breakfast were all fantastic and very reasonably priced. That being said, the staff are always happy to help and there are porters driving around that are always smiling and helpful. Hoping to return again and hopefully the resort has a lot more to offer.
We had a great holiday. Unfortunately the air-conditioning in our room broke down 4 days in a row. Staff were very helpful and went to great effort to resolve this and it was fixed in the end. Unfortunately all of the beds in our room were rock hard, lumpy and very uncomfortable. Made it difficult to have a relaxing holiday due to not sleeping well at night. Our room was wonderful and spacious and was very comfortable (if you look past the dodgy air-con and awful beds). On the plus side, the food was great! Buffet breakfast had great variety. And ‘The Meal’ restaurant had delicious Thai curries! The red curry was quite hot but soo good I went back to it twice. And there are plenty of non-spicy food options. Pools are great, resort is clean and well maintained. Beautiful gardens. Huge butterfly’s, lots of hermit crabs at night, squirrels and birds I. The mornings. Daily 2-hour ‘happy-hour’ was a highlight! A bit of maintenance and construction was going on during our stay, but it was not at all intrusive. I would go back to this resort again in the future, but I hope they upgrade the mattresses before then.
Not a good resort for younger couples. Good value for families. Resort very run down and needs lots of work. Pool tiles chipped and broken everywhere. We paid extra for a jacuzzi room in the adults only end of the resort. Jacuzzi was broken, no hot water in the bathroom, room quite small for the price. And shower overflowed into the bathroom. The adults only section had children staying there and drinking at the swim up bar. Overall if you want a cheap resort right on the beach it’s great. Breakfast is the same everyday and cafeteria style, very busy and kids running everywhere. Many other resorts in the area are much nicer. We ended up leaving this resort 3 days early and going to a nicer resort for a little bit more money.
