The hotel left a great impression. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh bedding and towels provided every day. We enjoyed the breakfast; everything was delicious. Our room had a view of the pool, and the beach area was well-equipped with comfortable loungers, beautiful palm trees creating a cozy atmosphere, and a bar where you could enjoy drinks. The hotel isn’t new, but it’s very well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help. While swimming in the sea wasn’t ideal due to the rocky shore, the pool was excellent, so it didn’t bother us. All of this made the stay even more enjoyable. We stayed for a couple of days but would have happily stayed longer.
When we arrived it was very nice, so well kept. It's really peaceful in Mai Samui. A few cafes/Restaurants near by that are walkable to. We went to a cafe called Kovani Samui, they do frozen yoghurts, sandwiches etc so is nice to go for something different. There is a free shuttle. It goes to 2 of the towns, but the timings weren't that good. You are tied to the hotel after 4.30 pm unless you get a taxi back. It's a place for relaxing and not ideal to stay any longer than 2 nights. Friendly staff and can't do enough for you.
Professional Housekeeping, but Front Desk & Management Disappointed My stay was a last-minute booking, chosen for the hotel’s good reputation, reasonable price, and multiple branches. At check-in, I politely requested a birthday room decoration for my mother and brother, and was told it would be arranged. However, despite waiting as instructed, neither room had any decoration even after 45 minutes. When I followed up, the story changed, and manager claimed it was a “communication mistake” and “urgent requests can’t be done in one day.” While the manager seemed dismissive, I truly appreciate the Head of Housekeeping, who was apologetic, responsible, and assured me she could have managed it even last-minute if she had been informed. My 3 stars are solely for her professionalism and willingness to take responsibility. Something the front desk and management should learn from.
