Room #modern, new and clean. Bed# comfortable. Shower # strong shower and stable temperatures. Breakfast # good breakfast and reasonable price. Service # friendly staff. The hotel has a car park and the location is good. Recommended!
The parking lot owned by the hotel is locked at night, which we were not informed about, and is charged 3 euros per night. I would like to thank the person who came to unlock the parking lot for me in the early morning. I was in the hotel from Monday to Friday, the room was not cleaned and the room was without a fridge, which I did not expect for the price. The food was very good and everyone was very polite.
We were very disappointed and actually quite surprised at our experience at this hotel. For €138 a night the room did not even contain a kettle to make tea/coffee let alone a fridge which is the standard you would expect at this price especially in a small town during a quiet period. The room was quite old unlike the photos we saw online so it appears that many of the rooms are not renovated. The room along with many others is at street level with cars parking and pedestrians directly outside your window (see photo). The worst part was to come. During check in, despite the two ladies at reception seeing we had a baby in a pram, we were given a room in an adjoining building with no elevator access. There were four separate sets of stairs to carry the pram up and down each time. At first we thought surely they would not have done this to us and assumed we had gone the wrong way, but no. Once getting to the room I checked online to see if the hotel was full which might explain it. However there were many other room types available which surely they could have offered us. Perhaps we were not worth a free upgrade to a ‘higher class’ of room in case there was a last minute booking depriving them of an opportunity to make an extra €20.
