Stayed here with my husband for the first leg of a milestone birthday trip. It was fantastic! The staff was so amazing, accommodating, and friendly! The breakfast buffet was delightful and the servers were extremely attentive. We had wonderful massages and enjoyed the spa area. Make sure to book the spa in advance as they limit the number of people per hour - a good thing! It was in a great location. I look forward to returning in the future!
Maison Rouge Strasbourg exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect! It's right in the heart of the historic center and next to a tram stop for easy travel. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a comfortable bed, excellent espresso machine, and a gorgeous bathroom. Housekeeping was flawless. The standout, though, was the staff. Léo at the bar was warm, knowledgeable, and poured the perfect wine. Pascal and Marta at the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helped turn around a rocky check-in. Because of them, I won’t stay anywhere else in Strasbourg. Outstanding hospitality!
I stayed at your hotel for two nights at the end of June this year. On the day of checkout, I was shocked to find that €273.10 had been withdrawn from my card under the hotel’s name without any reason and explanation. When I raised this issue during checkout, the manager came and assured me that it would be looked into and resolved, and that I would receive an email shortly. My email address was taken at that time. However, around three days later, the exact same amount of €273.10 was withdrawn again—once again, without any explanation. I emailed the hotel several times to report this, and I can confirm that the emails were successfully delivered, yet I never received a single response. Why was my email address even taken, if no one intended to use it? Around mid-July, one of the two unauthorized charges (€273.10) was suddenly refunded to my account without any notice or explanation. Now, with July almost over, I am still waiting to be refunded the other €273.10, as well as the €200 deposit. I cannot understand how a five-star hotel can manage customer card information so carelessly, and worse, show no responsibility or courtesy in addressing the issue. It is extremely disappointing. Since it seems the hotel is active in responding here, I have no choice but to leave this message here publicly. At this point, I honestly don’t know when—or if—I will get my money back. This seems like useful information for people planning to stay at this hotel.
