Maistra Select Family Hotel Amarin

We visited the hotel in march. Family Hotel Amarin is a truly wonderful place for a family holiday – ideal for a first vacation with kids. Everything is thoughtfully taken care of: delicious and varied food, plenty of play options for children of all ages, and a wellness area where parents can relax and recharge in the sauna. The hotel caters to all dietary needs, including allergies and food restrictions, which made meals stress-free and enjoyable. Outside, there are spacious playgrounds and green areas where kids can run and explore freely. There’s something for both younger and older children – from creative indoor playrooms and daily activities to outdoor adventures.The beach is clean and well-kept, perfect for family fun and relaxing moments. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean, and the entire hotel is very well maintained. We were truly impressed and would gladly return!

We recently stayed at Family Hotel Amarin and would definitely consider coming back — largely on our kids’ request! They absolutely loved it. Check-in was smooth and easy, and we were lucky to receive an upgrade to a larger room. It was also our child’s birthday during the stay, and the hotel surprised him with a lovely cake — such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms themselves are comfortable but quite basic and a little outdated. The same goes for the pools — functional, but crowded and showing their age. That said, the kids had a great time, especially enjoying the slides. The beach area is toddler-friendly and accessible. The food is very kid-friendly but not particularly exciting or luxurious. It tends to be repetitive, though the salad bar stood out as fresh and well-stocked. Now for the highlight: the kids’ club. This is where Amarin truly shines. The staff is absolutely wonderful — warm, professional, and clearly experienced with children. Our kids adored the soccer and swimming programs, and we felt completely comfortable leaving our youngest in their care for short periods. Their enthusiasm and care made a huge impact on our holiday, and it’s the main reason we’d return. That said, for parents looking for a luxurious spa or adult-focused experience, this might not be the right fit. The wellness and spa offerings felt limited, and the hotel is clearly designed with children as the main priority. In summary, it’s a fantastic choice for families with young kids, but less so if you’re hoping to relax in high-end surroundings as an adult. We’d return for the kids — not so much for ourselves.

Almost everything was good except: the cleaning lady constantly forgot to replenish the bathroom amenities like shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, and I was forced to chase her in the corridor to grasp one’s for us; and that is more importantly you should care more about the safety of your parking lots: during the 9 nights stay at your hotel our car was damaged twice: 1) the windshield of the car was broken and no cameras fixed it; 2) another car left scratches on the fender of our car and again no cameras to fix it and prove the damage… after staying at your hotel we need to repair the car at about 1500 Euro. I would definitely think twice before planning my next stay at your hotel and for now I would not make a choice to visit it next time.
