We definitely recommend Hotel Maistrali to everyone! Hotel located in a small, quiet town, which will be appreciated by all those who value peace, close to the sea and shops. The hotel and rooms are very clean, cleaned every day with great care. Delicious food, lots of choice, no one will leave hungry. However, what makes this hotel extraordinary is the amazing service! Starting from smiling waiters, to brilliant bartenders, including the best, wonderful Pati, who, apart from making delicious drinks, is simply fantastic, an amazing person with a lot of positive energy, she is fantastic! The manager is on site 24 hours a day, takes care of each guest and the entire facility, paying attention to every detail, ensuring your stay at the highest level. Thanks to him and the entire staff, we had the best vacation. The hotel definitely deserves five stars.
As for the accommodation itself, there’s not much to complain about except for the poorly designed bathroom, where the shower is only separated by a curtain, which is basically useless – water was everywhere no matter how hard we tried. The room was nicely cleaned every day, and during the week-long stay, the towels were changed, so no real complaints there. The food was good, quite a large selection, so everyone could find something they liked. The choice of drinks was limited, but I wasn’t expecting a wide variety, so I was satisfied. What I found strange was the charge for the fitness area – 7 € for four cardio machines crammed into a small room. I didn’t see anyone use it during the entire stay. The hotel had quite a few rules in my opinion – swimming in the pool was allowed from 8 AM to 8 PM, there was a dress code for dinner (which is understandable for some), you weren’t supposed to bring drinks from the bar to the dining table, and you couldn’t go for food in your swimsuit. ‼️ If you're going on a trip, you can request a snack box at the reception, but beware – YOU CANNOT go for breakfast, which honestly disappointed me. When we opened the small box during our trip, it contained a dry toast, ham, cheese, and a small apple. If you’ve paid for all-inclusive, you don’t expect to be limited in having breakfast, and essentially lunch too, when you're on a full-day excursion. Not to mention, with all-inclusive, you’re entitled to five meals (breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner). ‼️ The beaches were disappointing, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. If you don’t have high expectations and just want to relax, I’d recommend this hotel. In my view, it’s aimed at adults – which is exactly what we were looking for. :) If you want to go on a trip, travel agencies offer excursions, or you can rent a car. Honestly, if we hadn’t rented a car, I would have been disappointed by the surroundings, but that’s purely a subjective opinion.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation, as it was, without a doubt, the most unpleasant experience I've had so far. Although the hotel claims to be 4 stars, the level of service and the conditions provided are far below expectations, barely qualifying for 3 stars. For example, the private parking is not properly arranged – just an unmaintained area with trees, where cars with low ground clearance risk damage. The bathroom was probably the smallest I’ve ever seen, approximately 1 square meter. The shower was simply a curtain that inevitably stuck to you, and the water spread all over the bathroom, creating a puddle. The breakfast was another major disappointment – an extremely limited, repetitive selection of low-quality items, consisting of the cheapest products. In the afternoon, the only option for a shower was cold water, and the reception told us there was a technical issue – but this seemed more like an excuse. Towels are changed only every three days, unless you specifically request otherwise. Additionally, the air conditioning works very slowly, taking a long time to cool the room. The hotel advertises certain events, such as "Greek night - live music", but unfortunately, none were organized during our stay. Moreover, our attempts to contact the hotel by email prior to arrival went unanswered. Access to the fitness room comes at an extra charge (7 euros/day), although the room is just a hallway with five improvised machines. Even weighing your luggage upon departure requires a fee of 1 euro. After check-out, if your flight is not in the morning, the only waiting area is a room without air conditioning. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection did not work at all during our stay, and the phone signal was very weak in the rooms. In conclusion, our experience was disappointing, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.
