Maistros Village

I stayed in this hotel for three nights, and the hotel was very beautiful. Nicholas and Rosa were very cooperative receptionists. Whenever we asked for anything, they guided us well. They told us about different places to visit and enjoy Santorini. They were very kind people. The room was very neat and tidy, and the air conditioning was also excellent. The swimming pool service was very neat and clean, and breakfast was fantastic. This is a 3 star hotel. The staff are really nice and friendly, pool is good though only open 11-7. Breakfast is yummy. 12 minute walk to bus stop that will take you anywhere on the island. Rooms are adequate but not fancy and shower was lukewarm (though this was fine for us as we visited in August)

The hotel does not meet the standard of a five-star rating. The bed is broken, there are ants in the room, the towels are dirty and some have holes, there is no proper shower (no water pressure in the bathtub faucet), the private pool water is so cold that you don’t want to be in it, the breakfast is edible but maybe worth two stars, no conditioner or lotions (which are usually part of five-star service). The front desk service is good, but the bartender is constantly "watching over" and fussing around all the time, which is very disruptive. Overall rating 2/5, I recommend the hotel management either improve or remove at least three stars from the wall.
