Old school palace. Book and enjoy. Only problem was we did not stay long enough.
Hotel needs an upgrade. Very old carpets with water damage stains. Some areas you can smell the smoke in the rooms although they try to clean it. I think they should have a separate non smoking floor so people who are allergic are not affected. Lots of mosquitoes so get a spray. Wifi is ok in the hallway but does not always reach the room so you might not have any reception. The gym is non functional at the moment. Breakfast was good. They exchange money at reception and give a good rate.
Hotel is situated near some shopping, not very good shopping, and the shop keepers near here try to over price things. The hotel charges extra money on top of the room price, so expect to pay more than stated. Hotel is old and not updated or well cared for. Hallway carpets are very dirty and stained. The room was one of the dirtiest we have been in, the comforter and sheets had long cat hair all over them, it was disgusting. Bathroom was not very clean and had one towel. It's a very uncomfortable place, and way overpriced, I wouldn't recommend.
