Great hotel with lovely staff. The location is perfect in the middle of the city with lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Room is nice with a good bed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good breakfast for 15 E per person. The two drawbacks are the noisy bars opposite our room window (the hotel provides earplugs) and the small shower.

Staff are friendly, and in my experience they were willing to allow an American the chance to attempt or practice speaking some Italian. The hotel is within walking distance of all sorts of enriching places and activities—on weekdays and weekends Many Americans would be happy to know our guestroom was equipped with an air conditioner The breakfast was my favorite part of the stay. Beginning each day with a leisurely cappuccino and fresh nutritious food was splendid Salve, Gina!

This is a charming hotel located in the traditional Jewish ghetto. The origins of the hotel begins with Italo Morosi 11/3/1910. He learned the restaurant trade in Padua from his cousins. A lifetime of adjustments passed before WWII ended and Italo made a decision that created Trattoria Toscanini in 1946. Here the quality of cuisine attracted famous actors and important people that made the business thrive well enough to advance an interest in purchasing, in 1958, Hotel Majestic in Via dell’ Arco. After surviving the earthquake of 1964, the hotel Majestic Toscanelli opened its doors and completed Italo’s dream. When guests enter the hotel an aesthetic appeal is evident. Guests are welcomed with enthusiasm. A junior suite is a comfortable room for a couple. The breakfast is refreshing and diverse foods are deliciously satisfying for the start of your day. The restaurant offered by Italo is unfortunately no longer available but dinning from a restaurant next door may be enjoyed in your room, the hotel bar area, or an outdoor seating area among the ancient Jewish ghetto narrow, restricted streets as your backdrop like a theater set. Be aware that the Jewish Ghetto is a popular destination for the many venues that attract Padua’s students to stay late at night visiting with one another in the streets in front of the hotel. The noise volume is high and locals are trying to place restrictions on the late activities. Yes, your sleeping may be disturbed until midnight. The hotel offers ear plugs in their rooms for guests. The location of the hotel is walking distance to most attractions in the local area making it an easy and safe choice for exploring Padua.
