Mak Albania Hotel

this is a very nice hotel. the rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the standard amenities. the breakfast was fairly standard, however they do have pancakes and french toast made to order. the location is very nice. close to many restaurants, shops, and bars.

Nice pool, rooms are spacious, good location. The hotel doesn't announce there were maintenance works when booking, so loud noises that bothering to the end. The reception staff are not helpful, lacks professionalism in dealing with hotel guests. At night shift there would be only one receptionist who wouldn't attend the call, claiming he has other things to do rather than answering the call see what the guest wants. This is not acceptable since the hotel is considered a five-star. The groups received in hotel are unorganised, making harassment in the Hotel lobby as well as at the breakfast time, no one from hotel staff even tried to do anything to control the group/s.

Hotel is under the construction, withou any notice while booking your stay. The noise is 24/7, yes,even during the night. Rooms are super big and super old (not like in a pictures they published online). This was old Sheraton hotel which they are upgradeing. The location iz great, but everything elese is not a near 3 stars (super old) and it’s listed as a 5 stars. While chiling on outdoor pool, the coustruction workers are literally hanging above your head, and crans are operating as well above your head. One side of the pool is closed. Wi-fi ultra bad, or not working at all, or works for 3 min then breaks. Probably will be amazing after the work is done, but now, hell no!
