Mako Sea & Suites in Pefkochori offers a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water, made even better by the excellent service from Geri, a friendly and attentive waiter. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the quiet background music makes it the perfect spot for a peaceful day by the sea.

The rooms were lovely, with a peaceful atmosphere. The beach bar and pool had great music, creating a relaxing vibe. The service was excellent and stunning views of the Aegean Sea. While everything was made clear about extra costs, such as spending €25 on food and drinks to use the sun beds, it still felt a bit like a dampener when they kept pointing out what was extra as soon as you arrived. Fresh water wasn’t supplied daily, only one bottle at check-in with a friendly reminder that it’s free the first time. Overall, a beautiful spot, but the constant reminders about costs slightly affected the relaxed vibe. A 5-star experience would mean flawless service and transparency without any feeling of extra charges dampening the mood, whereas a 4-star reflects a beautiful stay with minor inconveniences related to costs and communication.

The food is too pricey and really small portions. Service is not good. First, they brought us a food bowl with no utensils and had to wait a while for them. Then I ordered a bottle of water and coffee, they brought coffee and 15 minutes after and after asking 2 more times, they finally brought the water. Also, we ordered afogatto, which is espresso with a scoop of ice cream, and they brought it without a spoon. We went to 4 more beaches and food and the service was excellent, everywhere but not here
