Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort

An unforgettable Maldivian escape just 15 minutes from the airport! We had a wonderful stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos. The speedboat transfer was smooth and super quick—perfect for a short getaway. The island is stunning, with soft white sands, clear turquoise water, and lush greenery all around. What stood out the most was the hospitality—every staff member we met was warm, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially loved the beach access right outside. Food at the buffet was diverse and tasty, with plenty of options to suit different preferences. We also tried the spa and it was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and conveniently located island experience in the Maldives. The hotel is just 12 minutes from the airport by speedboat, which is very convenient. We stayed in a sunset view room — it was beautiful. The restaurant’s interior is stylish, breakfast is tasty, and dinners are truly exceptional with international options. Staff are very attentive, cleaning the room twice daily and responding quickly to any issues. They also helped us with early and late check-out. The only downsides were the rocky, low-visibility shoreline — sea shoes are a must — and the presence of boats and jet skis near swimming areas, which can be a bit distracting. Overall, a great place with beautiful views and excellent service.

We absolutely loved our stay at Malahini. The hotel is located on a small, stunning island just a short boat ride from the airport — truly a paradise on earth. You can snorkel all around the island and discover the incredible underwater world, and the hotel even provides snorkels and masks as part of the all-inclusive package. The rooms were well-equipped, the food was delicious throughout our entire stay, and we also enjoyed a private beach dinner — a truly romantic and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend booking a massage during your stay as well. Don’t miss the free excursion to a local island, which was a great way to see a different side of the Maldives.
